Dormitory Martinskloster - living at river with view to the University of applied sciences
The Martinskloster residence is located on the bank of the Moselle river near Hochschule Trier and has 220 rooms.
The former Benedictine abbey was founded in the 4th century AD and has since witnessed the formation and development of the city of Trier over the centuries. In 1972, the parts of the building were converted into a student residence and extended.
In addition to various single residential units, Martinskloster also has double apartments for small flat shares or twosomes and small flats for couples with or without children.
Thanks to its central location in the city, the residence is suitable for both students at Hochschule Trier and anyone that would prefer to be closer to the city, as all of the inner-city shops and leisure facilities can be reached very easily from here.
The inner courtyard of the residence, with its imposing copper beech and relaxed BBQ area, offers residents an oasis of calm within the hustle and bustle of the city.
